8 Confession -- James Patterson Book review

I got an advanced copy of the 8th Confession by James Patteson and Maxine Paetro. This is the 8th story of the Womens Murder Club. This was also a TV show on ABC. I didn't watch the show.

This is the story of Yuki(a Lawyer) , Claire( Medical Examiner) , Cindy( Reporter) and Lindsey( Inspector). I have read the earlier books of these too. But this is my first review of it.

This is book centers on 2 different cases of bagman Jesus and murder of the ultra rich of San Francisco. Yuki is trying a difficult case and finds some romance with a doctor. Cindy is working the bagman man story and finds some romance too. Lindsey is jealous of Cindy but she hasn't answered Joe's proposal of marriage yet.

I understand how it came to get the title by a specific scene in the book. But I'm not going to spoil it for those haven't read the book yet. I did like the recaps from the other books regarding the characters. This series treats you like a smart person and you understand what has happened in the other books. It was subtle reminder for those who had read the books the and if you hadn't it was easy to catch up.

I would read this book again. I enjoyed it and the bad person was really and had some serious issues.

I enjoyed doing the Book review and would love to do more. Thank you Little Brown and Company for letting me do this.
