This is my first time reading this author. This story takes place the day of the party and told through 1 person's point of view. Through the character you are able to find out about all the other characters. I didn't have any favorite character but I wasn't to know the ladies at the party.
I liked that it had the cookie club rules and it had real cookie recipes to make, should you own the book. I also found it interesting that through out the book , you are able to learn about flour, sugar , ginger..etc and their history. That was a nice touch to the story. There were some disagreements and the story flowed. It happened around my favorite season---Christmas.
This is also going to be made into a movie.
This is chick lit and a quick read for me. I liked it overall. I gave this a 4/5 stars. Its a good book. I think I might be making some cookies soon.
