The Last Song -- Book review

Seventeen-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father ...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. (Goodreads.com)

I have read Nicholas Sparks books and loved them. I have read The Notebook and other books by him.

This was quick read and definitely Chick-Lit. This was a screenplay before it was book. Miley Cyrus is in the movie.

There are 4 Points of View of Ronnie, Will, Steve, and Marcus.

Ronnie and Steve are Father and daughter. Will and Marcus are the love interest in Ronnie. This takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina and near the beach. This novel showed many kinds of love with family, first love, and God's love. This book also centered around fixing a local church that had been burned and showing the aftermath of certain characters. There was many changes of the characters through out the book.

I liked this book and give it 4 out 5 stars. I would recommend this book to all my friends. This is a book to reread.
