Make Ahead Meals for busy moms--review

I was lucky enough to get this cook book. I made a couple dishes for my family.

My kids loved how good it tasted , and I liked how easy it was make dinner time , so much easier on me.

I loved how it was divided into all the different parts of a meal from main dish to dessert.

I made a dessert for my family and they loved it. I heard the happiest sounds of my kids enjoying the dish.

I'm giving away 1 copy of this book.

Tell me what you like to make for dinner at your house . This is great to give me more ideas for dinner.

This will be going til next Tuesday

  1. I'm interested! Especially with being pregnant - I could use all the help I can get! lol!

We make bbq chicken sandwiches, baked pasta, lemon/garlic chicken pasta, ... and I can't think of anything else right now. :)

  2. I love making Spaghetti Pie, but my 6yo doesn't like his spaghetti in a pie. We also have taco night almost every week because it is a huge hit with my 6yo. Since it is Fall, I will be making stroganoff and Beef Burgandy stew soon! I also made an Apple Dumpling Cobbler last night that was pretty yummy and easy.

  3. anything quick and easy. I love crock pots! Not a lot of time to get dinner ready for young ones after work and before bed!

  4. My kids love it when I make Strghanoff. I make mine with cream cheese. My mil makes it with sour cream. It's fast, it's easy, it's yummy. We put it over rice and usually cook broccoli as a side.

  5. Ok, I don't need another cookbook, but I'll tell you what I like to make. The kids are in to simple things to eat:
Tacos, spaghetti, fettucini alfredo (easy!), Grilled chicken and rice a roni with broccoli, beef stew, frozen yogurt shakes, sugar cookies with frosting (the kids get to frost and sprinkle), homemade rolls and bread, cinnamon rolls made with bisquick (easy!), and my personal favorite is breakfast for dinner.

  6. We have lots of quick dinners since all 3 kids play soccer around here...it is home from school, homework, then playtime and soccer practice. I definitely need quick meals! We have tacos, lasagna, chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, chicken and rice bake, pizza, soup, grilled chese, and many more.

  7. My hubby usually fixes dinner, but when it's my turn to cook, there's nothing better than chicken & dumplings. Especially on a cool fall evening. Chicken pot pie is also a hit. A big fave is lasagna because I can easily make extra to freeze for another night when time is short. And of course, anything in a crock pot!!
