So Cold the River-Book Review

It starts with a beautiful woman and a challenge. Alyssa Bradford approaches filmmaker Eric Shaw to make a documentary about her father-in-law, Campbell Bradford, a 95-year-old billionaire whose past is cloaked in mystery, the only clues being the name of his hometown and an antique water bottle he's kept his entire life.

Only a few hours after his arrival in Bradford's rural hometown, Eric experiences a frighteningly vivid vision. As the days pass, the frequency and intensity of his hallucinations increase. He's drawn deeper into the town's dark past, which is centered on a glorious hotel where presidents and mobsters once mingled, drawn to the area by the curative powers of mineral springs. Eric discovers that something besides the hotel has been restored--a long-forgotten evil that will stop at nothing to regain a lost glory. ( Goodreads.com)

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this book was and what a ride. My first time reading this author. The first chapter really hooked me onto the story.

This book is done in 4 parts and its starts with Eric doing a video funeral and is drawn to certain items about a person and can put it into pictures and thats what starts the story off. Eric is given a job to find out about a mineral water bottle and more about the family.

Eric- trying to solve the mystery
Josiah- Family that being investigated on
Lucas- family
Kellen- helping Eric
Anne- 80's and lives in town and watchs weather
Claire- Eric's wife

Eric comes to town and trying to find out more about the town and certain members that are related to a person. Once the story came to town, its got really exciting and I too was trying to figure out more about the town and the people. Along the way he gets into fight, doesn't sleep very well, and seems to be connecting to the town.

I don't want to give much away about this book but after I read this: AWESOME . I don't know whether this was a supernatural or mystery ..but this is one book that I hope people will read.
