Babysitting

Babysitting for me has always been something I did growing up.

I watched my siblings while my parents went on dates , and some were paid and other were not. I knew which dates were paying ones.

I watched this family of kids for while and I think that they also had 5 kids too. Our families always hung out together, and we played with the kids

I remember my mom had a teenager watch us on Mondays, so my mom could have time to get away from kids. I thought that the babysitter was pretty cool , and i remember thinking that I would love to do that when I got older.

The memorable babysitting was for siblings especially my brother. He was a difficult child to babysit. He had alot of anger issues . I've had many situations when the kids I watched ended up sick while I was watching them.

  3. Way to roll with the punches! We all live thru thrown up hotdogs... the hard part is not throwing up ourselves

  4. I wish I could feel the trust needed to GET more babysitters to watch my son, then I'd actually get a break and not be so freakin' anxious and tired all the time!

    Oh well, some day....

I babysat for a neighbor of mine who was a single dad and he came home drunk and asked how much I charged. I said $10 (it was like 1986 and it was for a few hours, I didn't know!) He wrote me out a check for $50 cuz he thought I meant $10 an hour!

HA! Good for me, not so good for him...Poor drunk guy.
