The Sapphire Talisman Book Review
This is the 2nd book in the series by Brenda Pandos and I'm also part of her street team & and I have gotten to know her through MOPS. I've become good friends with a author.
Nicholas needs to get more protection. Julia wants to go along with him too, and not tell her dad that she is sneaking out of town. Julia's dad is overprotective and I think that he is being a good dad. At school there is some drama with her friends. Loved seeing the friends in this book. I didn't like that she was lying to her dad about where she was going and not telling her father about her boyfriend Nicholas.
Julia goes out of town( without telling her dad) Julia tells the truth to Nicholas about her gift , and also visits her Grandma. Julia had a great visit with her Grandma.
There is also some more trouble with Alora again.
I'm not going to give it all away but it was a good story. There was some cheesiness through out the book. But this is a great part of the series and I want to see what happens with Julia & Nicholas relationship.
This is a book that only had kissing in it.
Best Line: World domination, Ultimate Power , I don't know.
This book did have my pet peeve with parents in books--The parent there is always working and doesn't have a clue about whats happening in his house. The parent is only there to drive the story along or make the parents seems like they don't have clue with whats happening in their own home. I tend to think that these parents are only paranormal books. Julia was on much her own trying to deal with the problem at hand.
