Books & Tween
I got into reading young adult books through Twilight and I'm glad that it brought me back to reading this genre. I have a daughter who likes to read books like me.
But I have never had any restrictions on what I couldn't read at all. I had to use my best judgement when picking out a book , and for that I'm grateful. Thanks Mom for letting me ride my bike to the library and always bring home some more books. Thanks for passing along Outlander to me to read.
I as a parent am glad to know whats out there for kids to want to read from the Harry Potters series to Mortal Instruments Series to Hex Hall Series.
There are so many more good books and more dystopian books than I ever had while growing up . I'm glad there are so many wonderful authors who dream up such great worlds for my daughter and I. I know that there are so many different types of books for someone to escape into it for a little while.
While talking with my daughter , I was explaining that I love Books and there are some great friends who share books and through that friendship of sharing books , I have made such great friends. I have also found new authors . Thanks Parajunkee, Karen, and many more of you who have suggested a new series or books.
Thanks to all my Friends & Books
if you can recommend any books for my Tween to read that will be wonderful.

Awe thanks Jules!! That was a sweet shout out. I hope I'm all into YA like I am now when A get's to be a tween. She's already into books alot at 3 and could sit there and have us read to her all day long. She's now started grabbing my books, LOL. "Not quite yet." I have to tell her.
ReplyDeleteHave you guys read the Rick Riordan books yet, the Percy Jackson series companions are great. Also I just reviewed the Life As We Knew It by Sara Pfeffer...those are a little emotional but excellent reads.
Ahhhhh thank you!
ReplyDeleteAw, this was a really touching post! Some of the best friendships can develop from the simple shared love of books! :)
