Lily Procter is always sick . She finally starts having more than a friendship with Tristan. Juliet is her sister, and has been away at college. Samantha is her other sister , and she knows things about people in town. Her mom is also crazy.
Lily starts hearing her own voice and is transported to another Salem. She meets Lillian who is a witch , and she is in charge.
Lily tries to figure things out, and meets up with Rowan. He helps Lily along her journey. She also learns more about magic, claiming, and energy. She also learns more about the out lander & Covens and mind-speak. Lily also learns more about herself along with Tristan, Rowan, and Caleb. Lily and Rowan do have a connection. Her family is very important to her.
I have found that this book was very good with the world building. I loved that this wasn't insta romance. I loved that this book mixed magic with science. This book did remind me of sliders. This book slowly grew on me along with Tristan, Rowan. Lily becomes a strong female , and she stands up for what she believes in. I have found that her 1st books area always great . I do love an author who writes something new and different.
Book Review= B+
Thanks so much to Macmillan and this is my Honest Review
World building (along with characterization) is one of the things that makes or breaks a book for me! I'm excited you liked this one, I got the audiobook and I like what I have heard so far! :)
