Fan's being taken advantage of

I have long been a fan of Katie McGarry books and I enjoy her characters...but this latest attempt is not so nice. To read this fan favorite of Abby and Logan, I have to buy her other NEW book series and when this book comes out I can get both books. Well looking on amazon it varies from 11-14 dollars for an e book or book. Then Abby's book goes back in the vault .

I had bought Gayle Forman's Just one Night as a separate story for .99 because  i wanted to see how it ended. Why can't Harper/ Harlequin Teen do this for the fans. As a fan , this seems unfair and sleezy because I know that I wanted to see the Logan /Abby story . Heck I admit that I haven't read the latest Echo and Noah story because I couldn't handle the angst. But I would buy it :)

Seriously the fans should be treated better and let us have the option...because as it looks I would rather spend my money elsewhere for another book. I have wanted to read the Abby story since she was introduced. But having this be a lead up to the other book series is not the way to play this. I hope that this fails ..because the last time i bought a book was because my name was in the back of Alligant as a blogger.


Many of her fans are teens and not moms--but this promotion just seems not fair to the fans.

Have you had a promotion of book that just seemed wrong or have you waited because the publisher was doing something like this ?? Do you buy Novellas ??

What are your thoughts on this promotion ??

Lou ( Elizabeth ) owns the restaurant  Luella and she loves it. She is engages to marry Delvin . Al is British  transplant to Milwaukee. He does the restaurant reviews  in town. Lou makes a cake for Delvin and finds him with a girl . Al is on his way to the Luella's to review the food. It isn't a good rating for the place.

They meet later at a pub and they decide to out and she is going to show him the best of the town. They decide not to discuss their jobs. She only knows that he is freelance writer. He starts liking the city more , and she starts getting happy. He shows her a review of a place that they ate at together.

Many secrets come out during this book and there is romance between Al and Lou. This book was great about the food and the city. I loved that Lou had such great friends . I stayed up late reading this book . I loved the little moments between Lou and Al where they are trying to figure out their relationship.

Insurgent Movie

My daughter and I are counting down til the next movie comes out. She has reread this book series so many times and I think she has a thing for Four. Are you excited to see this movie ??

Sawyer has had a crush on Kaye . She has been with Aiden for the past 3 years, and she wants to go to Columbia. Sawyer also lives near Harper.

Kaye is trying to do it all her senior year. Sawyer and Kaye both have class leadership  and cheer.  He always asks outrageous questions to Kaye , but he is completely serious . Kaye is also having some issues with Homecoming. Sawyer and Kaye are having some discussions over many things.

Things start changing over talking , friends, and dreams. Kaye doesn't know her future , and neither does Sawyer but they help each other out.

I loved seeing everybody from the other books. I loved Sawyer and Kaye and they are hot together. I adored Sawyer in /out of the Penguin suit. I adored all the friends from the other books were in this book.

I love being back in this world. Many things change for the courtyard and for the humans working with them. Simon was in many meetings in this book. Simon and Meg are trying to figure out their relationship. I loved seeing Tess, Vlad, Ruthie. There were some moments I laughed out loud. Meg is becoming the Pathfinder for all the other girls. Seriously another amazing book and I am patiently waiting for the next book,and I hope more things happen between my fave couple. Nathan was amazing :)

Aroo Aroo waits patiently for the next book. Seriously you need to read this series.

Lila Alders is now divorced and heading back home to help her mom in Black Dog bay. She runs into a couple of old boyfriends . She is interested in both of them for different reasons. Her mom is having some financial issues and things need to happen.

Lila is going through her mom clothes and realizes that there is gold mine and an easy way to help with those bills. She also starts making girl friends and helping them out too. Lila and her mom set up shop and things just seem to happen.

She also goes on dates with both men , and realizes that she is attracted to another one.

Very cute story and I loved that this was a different romance and that it was lot of team work with the store and with the relationship.

This Heart of mine & proof of Forever

Phoenix is out of prison and back in whiskey creek living near her mom. Riley is apprehensive to see her with Jacob. omg best slow burn get together of this group. so many missed connections and Phoenix is very concerned about Jacob and making up for lost time. we do see the gang through the book, but the only main one is Kyle. the others are sporadic til a certain trip. this book was so much better than the others ones, and glad Lincoln ( rex) could be helpful :) I loved eve in this book.

I so wish that the other books previously were just as good. maybe because we don't see Presley or chey very much in the book. no resolution on the baby drama . I did love that this book was more about Riley and Phoenix. I can't wait to read Kyle story...what no Joe's book. :( on a side note I loved reading about the local town's and high schools playing baseball , so I could relate. I think that this brings the series back and I guess I am not breaking up with it. Thanks Riley and Phoenix...you brought a reader back. There was the right friend interaction and phoenix had a tough time getting back to normal life after being in prison.
