I found the mountain to be a simile to marriage. There are highs and lows within a Marriage and it changes over time. An accident changes the relationship. Loved the imagery and the descriptions of Africa. I felt transported to Kenya and could understand what was happening there, and it was preachy

The book is 3 parts.



I have read Testimony and The Pilots wife also by Anita Shreve and have liked her books before.

I would recommend this book to read and I liked it. It was just as good as The Pilots Wife.

I give this book 4 out 5 stars.
