Growing up my family went on many camping trips and did it with my cousins at times too.
My most favorite memory was going to Camp Lehi in the Santa Cruz mountains and one year we did Thanks giving there in the Kitchen. It was pouring rain and very cold there. The food was tasty and it was great to spend time with my cousins. Nothing out of the ordinary happened that year but its a memory I hold dear to my heart. I think I was 10-12 when we did that reunion.
Another Camping year with Family was Lake Tahoe and the first of Family Reunions with us kids and our kids. I was pregnant with S and uncomfortable and K was still very little . It was nice to spend time with family and going on walks and even the beach. This year we are having another reunion with family. I'm excited for the cousins to play and to be able to see my sisters and brother and even my parents. I haven't seen my other cousins since the last reunion.
Camping is tent and food and making smores over the fire. But there is part of me that would love to rough it in room with a shower, but I can forgo beauty for family.
Totally excited for this years adventure with Family.
These all sound like great memories. I am just starting to learn how important family vacays are.
