Education = Books

I did go to college for a bit and haven't gotten my degree yet. I know bad choice but its was my choice.

I'm still learning from Books about many different topics. I have been thinking with reviewing the books for sometime -- I have been doing Book Reports and no I'm not being tested like my kids when they read books.

I know I need to finish my education and there is part of me that wants to work while my kids are all in school. I'm almost to that point this year with 4 kids in school full time.

I like the reading and when the books are boring or can't connect that makes me want to finish a book or just not finish it . lately I have come across a couple of these books , but that doesn't happen very often. I also try working in one of my books because I need something fun and something that I don't need to report on per say. There are times I read for fun and have found some great new books through blogs and found some awesome friends in BOOK Club setting @Blogwithbite.

When reading a book I get introduced to a new world , new people and different problems ..and to me reading is escape or hobby.

I can be pretty social at times but not everyone can see it

  2. Sadly, I have a degree and had never read a book, cover to cover until AFTER college :( I know its awful, but I LOVE reading now and I read to escape for a while and it sure works! Great post!

  3. I have always been a reader. For me it is primarily a way to escape the stresses of everyday life, my own little island where I can relax. My job demands that I read, but I still love it, and let me just say I chose the correct profession. I don't always like the books I am required to read for my job or the book award committee I am on, but I like that they force me to read books I wouldn't normally read--another reason why I participate in the Blog With Bite Monthly Books. Sometimes lately when I read I feel that it is more for work or my blog than it is for me, but even so, I enjoy it.

  4. I used to be an avid reader. I guess yo could say I waas my mother's daughter - always had a book with me. Now reading is only out of necessity. When I find a book I enjoy it's hard for me to find the balance of reading and my daily activities. So I just don't read.
    I envy you.
