Firelight Book Review

Firelight
Jacinda Jones lives in the cascade mountains and is a one of kind draki girl. She is the special one in the tribe.  Her father is dead and her mom wants to run away to the desert heat to get away from the pride.

What prompted this move was Jace trying to hide from Hunters. She is able to hide away from all of them but one hunter is able to find her, but he doesn't tell the rest of the hunting party. Jace's mom decides it time to leave the pride and go somewhere warm.

Jace and her twin sister and the new students at the new school. Her sister fits in nice with the popular kids and Jace is trying to fit it. Her sister even goes out for the cheer leading team and feels like she is some body. Everybody wants something or they have to give up something , so that someone else in the family can be happy.

Jace is the odd girl and making friends and feeling attracted to Will. Will is a hunter of Draki and senses Jace right away on the first day of school. There is an instant attraction to each other but Jace doesn't want to like Will at all. There is many times mentions of Romeo & Juliet story though out the book.

With her mom working nights so she can home with the girls and some money that she has set aside for that emergencies. Jace feels part of the pride back in the mountains and feels that she is original girl because is the only one of her kind in 400 years. She had conflicting thoughts about her family , and Will though out the book . It was nice to see a romance blossom in other the science class, but this had Study Hall. Jace would do all that she could for her family.  She is girl torn between two worlds and what choices she is able to do in either world.

Jace seemed to always be the center of attention, and didn't understand all the sacrifices that her mom and sister have given up for her. She didn't see the whole picture and just started understanding what it felt like not to be so special.

Love the cover of this book

This book is so good I was telling my brother about it during the vacation. Its a must read and I will be sharing this book with my friends. I loved that this was so different from other paranormal books out there. I'm excited for the next book in this series. It was refreshing and original story.
