What MOPS means to me ??
Mops is a program for mom to meet and make those lasting friendships. I have been participating in this program since 2004. It was great experience my first year , and still keep in touch with those moms still.
I have also did some leadership experience for 2 years as Moppet Coordinator. This was a hard job but giving the service to the moms was just was rewarding to me.I did miss many meetings but in that time I became friends with those that served . In that group as a leader I think I grew alot in my friendships and my own personal growth of what I could accomplish.
I love that in MOPS that we sit at tables and sometimes we do arts and crafts and other times there are speakers. When we moved I went to another MOPS groups and have been with them since having my last child. I've made some great friends through the group.
I did try my local Moms club but that didn't seem to good fit with me & the kids.
I love that MOPS has books that help a woman become a better mom. I also have loved their themes and the topics that have been along that theme. I do love that they use scripture . I'm nearing my end of being in MOPS, and know that this is a great program for moms who need a place to talk with other moms.
If you have one in your area , I highly recommend it and check it out.
Moms + MOPS+ kids = Great Mothers
Great post. I love MOPS because it's supportive and fits into my crazy schedule. The friendships have been very wonderful, including meeting you Julie!

I don't think there's a MOPS here. But I had loved being in that group for the years that I lived in Nebraska! Love the fellowship, friendships and FOOD! We had great breakfasts!
