Jackie is a Succubi who is love with two men. Noah who we meet while she is on a dig in Mexico. He also proposes marriage to her. Jackie is at a loss for words, and she still has a place in her heart for Zane a fallen vampire angel. She gets taken into custody and is on trial for something that happened in a previous book I think. This is my first time reading this author. She defends her self , and makes a deal to get a halo back from her friend Remy, another Succubi.
Succubi need to have sex every 2 days to be in full power, so there is a some sex in the book. Jackie is able to be released and goes to find her friend Remy , who has been taken over by an evil spirit. She goes to Remy's house with her bodyguard Ethan, and sees an invitation to attend a Vampire Ball from Zane. She goes to the party and makes a deal with the Vampires for the Halo. There she receives help from Caleb & Zane.
Ethan is such a great character and I at times felt like I understood how he felt being around Jackie . There is such passion between Zane and Jackie , that they have some stolen moments. Jackie also needs to make up her mind on who she loves, and wants to spend her life with forever. She also finds out a secret that both Zane , and Noah have kept from her. There is some fighting and kissing...that's all I'm going to say about this book.
I did like this book, but I didn't love it.
