So Over my Head

Bella Kirkwood is back again solving mysteries in this 3rd book.

I did like the shout outs to Twilight and other normal teenagers responses. She is a reporter for the Truman High Newspaper in Oklahoma. She is lot like Nancy Drew and the mysteries come to her.


Bella has lots to trust issues , and daddy issues. While at the circus and interviewing the bearded lady, she finds Betty dead. She was also there with Luke Sullivan who is the editor and ex boyfriend. They are also fighting alot through out the book --which was foreplay & flirting but that old after a while.

Her dad lives in New York and a plastic surgeon and engaged to this new girl. She has her suspicions too.  

I had a tough time getting into this book since the previous books were so heavy.

Bella is trying to solve 2 cases and also dealing with some family issues with her dad , mom , step dad. I did like that Luke was honest with Bella , and that she had true friends that helped solve the case , and prayed for her. She also kept going on about hating Luke and but then she would mention how cute he was--all the time. ( As a reader I got that within the first couple of chapter, I didn't like to be reminded over and over again, how hot he was.)

I did like that she finally TALKED with her dad about parenting or lack of it. I did like that they mentioned Church , prayers, and faith, and trust.
