Megan lost her Grandpa  . Ellie is dating Ryan and back at school. There is a blog that shown through out the story. Its called the Outsider ANON blog ...The story takes place in Redding CA.

Megan is the trouble child, and Ellie is the good girl

Ellie goes to a party with Ryan and that evening breaks up with him. There is an accident . Megan is with her boyfriend when she hears the news , about her sister going to the burn unit in Davis, CA.

Ellie has a tough time adjusting to life , and has some scars on her face. Megan and Ellie end up switching roles it seems in this book.

I did like that the girls were praying and that their were questions more things after the accident. A good point was brought up that sometimes we don't really know people at all.
