Mercy is spirit that inhabitants or hijacks another living body by living it for a period of time. She has lived in many bodies and remembers those experiences.
She is now Carmen who just stepped off a bus in Paradise in part of a exchange program with music. She is living with this family that has lost a daughter. Carmen is soprano singer, and like the family their daughter was also a soprano singer. Mercy is attracted to Ryan, the older brother of Lauren. At the choir practice , they are singing in Latin, and it reminds Mercy of her dreams.
Mercy is able to touch and know if something is true, which is a great help to Ryan. During the two weeks there , she works with different choir while trying to solve the mystery of Lauren.
This was a great Mystery , and usually I don't like having a body taken over
. I loved that Mercy tries to make the lives better of the people she inhabits. This time was different experience for her and this was a beautiful story.Best Line: Sometimes it seems that you are two different people , you know
