A Song for my Mother

A Song for My Mother
Marly had a rough child hood and left home when she had the chance to run. She is now a mom to Katie who wants to meet her Grandma. Katie is also fighting cancer.

They move back to her small town and move in with her mother. They live next door to Sheriff Reed and Ham. They both take a liking to Marly and Katie.

Emily is also a friend of Reed's who has lost her husband , and feels the guilt of working mom . She wants to stay home and continue being the best homemaker she can be.

All of these characters all come together when an incident affects one of these characters. Friendships are formed and slowly problems are discussed.

Best Line: Mothers do the best they can do

This was short and fast read for me. I have been thinking about my mom since reading this story. This best line is so true because of time, money and all of our situations are so different while being a mom. Its a tough job but there are some great rewards. Mother hood is hard , and at times very thankless with no sick pay or vacation pay. Its a wonderful journey so far and so thankful for my mom and that she has done for me while I was growing up.
