Amelia is a ghost, and has been reliving her death many times. When she is going under the water again, she sees someone else in the water. She sees him underneath the water , and prays that he gets rescued. When the boy does get rescued, he looks at her and tells her to call him Joshua.
Joshua finds her again , and they are chatting again. Amelia meets Eli who is also like her ( dead). Joshua describes Amelia to her self because she has no idea. They hold hands and feel a spark. His Grandmother Ruth believes in Ghosts. Amelia and Josh to school to then to his home. His grandma is non too pleased to see her there.
Amelia's connection to Joshua is because they both drowned. Joshua also has some abilities as a SEER. His family is to guard the river, banish unclaimed spirits , and he is join a coven of witches. While hanging out with Joshua , she experiences more memories and wants to find her family.
Interesting things occur when Joshua and Amelia kiss. I want to see where this relationship goes since this book will be a trilogy. This is a paranormal mystery .
Best Line: The people I care the most about in the world ...they call me Joshua
Amelia learns more about herself, and more about Eli and what he wants from her.

ReplyDeleteGlad to know a little more about it! I still think I'm going to wait a few months before trying it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI also read some not-so-great stuff about this book to start with, but lately it's begun to sound a lot more interesting! I've especially enjoyed the character interviews that people have been doing for its blog tour ... they've kinda sorta made me want to rea it! :)
