Queen of Kentucky Book Review

Ricki Jo wants someone else when she starts her freshman year. She lives on a farm and best friends with Luke. She wants to be known as Ericka . While during her first couple days of school , she finds and wants to be apart of the popular girls. She get the attention of Wolf.

She tries for the cheer squad , and decides that she doesn't want to friends with her friend from 4-H as much. While with her new friends there is bullying going on with those who aren't as popular. She wants to be apart of the fantastic four/five friends but there are times that she feels looking outside but in the group.

Luke's father is a bully to his family when he drinks. Its like secret , but everyone knows that he is abusive. Which brings this situation to the front because Ricki/Ericka dog gets hurt by the some loose dogs. Luke is able to help the dog , and it helps him deal with his family situation.

Best Lines: Horny teenagers will go anywhere to get it on

I don't know what to think. I didn't peg you as the kind of girl to sell out.

Overall this was cute story of a girl trying to figure out who she is and whats important to her. Along the way there are mishaps along the way. She wants what every teenager wants a kiss, boyfriend, and to be popular. I did  want some of these things back when I was freshman in high school. I even had a crush on the popular guy but he was also like Wolf in this book too.

Book Review = C

Thanks to Little Brown for the book and this is my honest Review
