Braden is living with family now. He isn't having an easy time at school. He is at odds with the Lansing family including Trey/Jade. But not is all what it seems . Lucian is still causing trouble. Braden is dealing with demons, and different things happening with eyes and magic. Braden's relationships are changing with Drew, Jade, Trey, and Riley.
This book had action, some romance, and more secrets are revealed about family members. No sophomore slump in this series. I can't wait to see what happens with Trey and Braden. Family is important in this series.
Braden emotions are all over in this book due to the evil author, and he learns more about his family with each book. This book made me sad, and love that there is still hope.
Best Line: Magic was all about will and demand. I wanted things to happen, and I made them. Every spell had a shape.
Well when a mommy book and a daddy book tolerate each other and mommy doesn't have a headache....Drew snorted. Cute
