Stealing Parker Book Review

Parker used to play softball, but since her mom ran off with her girlfriend, she has been left in the cold by her friends and church friends too. She has a 4.0 GPA and already accepted into the college of her choice. She is friends with Drew and Will. She wants to distance herself from her memory of her mom, so she has been kissing lots of boys.

She wants to help keep the stats for the baseball team, and there is a new Coach who will be helping out there. Coach Hoffman gives her the attention that she needs, and she doesn't tell anyone that they are chatting or Kissing. She also starts to get to know Corn Dog ( Will ) better too. This book was a bit religious  but I think its due to the family and going to church. Everyone in the family is coping with the loss of wife/mother leaving them in different ways. I loved that it showed the characters from the other book.

Cute romance but I didn't like that the Coach was the adult in the situation , and that she was a student. I know that this happens today , but it still made me cringe. I loved that she finally found a romance with someone and was able to make peace with her GOD. I loved that this focused on baseball & softball.

I would read this author again

Best Line: Will, Will, Will . I want him. Just thinking about him makes my skin tingle, and I keep reliving that afternoon we spent napping on my bed.

Book Review : B

Thanks to source books for the book and this is my Honest Review

  4. I had mixed feelings about the first book, but I think it was partly because it was so similar to another book that I liked better. I might give this one a shot sometime, though!
