Giving Thanks for Books -- Blogger Confession

Giving thanks: Is there a book that you are thankful you have read?  Maybe it has changed your life in a small or even a large way, or made you see things in a different perspective.

Well scriptures always come to mind as book that I am thankful that I read over and over again. I always get something new from it and able to apply it to my life. I am thinking of the Book of Mormon and The Bible . I think of their courage and their examples , and hoping that I can be a strong example to those around me and to my kids.

But to go along with the Thankful ...I am most thankful for the friends I have made in this community. I have made so many wonderful friends, read some great books, and even found some new authors. I am most thankful for these things. Overall I have read some great books from Shadow and Bone to Evernealth , The Raven Boys, Seraphina , Chasing Magic, and The Hallowed Ones, Easy , The Darkest Minds, Renegade.  I am  thankful for those relationships with publishers, and friends that share their books.

I disliked a Beta, and Incarnate this year, and I didn't even finish Beautiful Disaster. These were my worst books of the year.

So that is what I am thankful for this year.
Family, Friends, Food, Fiction

So What book has touched you this year or what are you thankful for ???

  1. I was wondering if someone was going to answer Scriptures/Bible for this question. Although I admit I haven't read this in full, I can see how it would be a great source and a great comfort to people.

I agree with you, the people I have met in this community have made Blogging so much fun and have taken my reading to a new level.

(LOVE the pic of your kids!)
