Rockoholic Book Review

Jody Flook is the biggest fan of the Renegades. She is love with the front man singer " madman " Jackson. Her grandfather has passed away, and going to this concert would make her life complete. She is best friends with Mac.

Jody is waiting all day for the concert with Mac . She finally gets into the concert and she only last through 3 songs and faints. She is back area and being taken care of , when all the band members come in and check on the girls. Jackson isn't happy , and Jody makes a rash choice and kidnaps Jackson. No one is really aware that she has taken him. She bring him to her friends Mac's house.

Jody is making some rash choices during the time that she kidnaps Jackson. Also her hero isn't all what she expected, and she has eyes opened up about many things. Cree is the sister to Mac, and she plays a big role in this book. Jody also watches kids , and Cree is one of them. She also gets along better with her mom and sister.

This book was predictable in some ways, and in other ways different. Jody acted like a child in the beginning and finally grew up and accepted the consequences of her actions . She realized some things her grandfather was trying to tell her before he passed away. I think if you liked the movie : Taking Five  , then you will like this book. There are also shout outs to Harry Potter world.
