Denver Jones is a hotshot twentysomething attorney working in LA. Carolyn Henderson is a personal assistant to a powerful and very married Senator in Washington with whom she is having an affair. And Annnabelle Maestro --the daughter of two movie stars--has carved out a career for herself in New York as Madam of choice for discerning famous men. The stories are more current and there also the richness of the people of New York and LA. These kids have their own dreams . It was nice to see some old characters and hear about what the characters have been up too. There was a murder , drugs,  one night stands, and finding out what friends have been up to since the last Lucky book.

Liked the cover-- Have read this author many times and very fluff novel and seemed to be her usual fare.

All it takes is chance encounter with Teddy Reyes , a rouguish small time bass player with a highly evolved sexulaity, to open Violet's eyes to what she's missing and upend her life completely. This is an adult novel.

I really tried to like this book. It reminded me of a car wreck that you see on the street. You see all accident and there is a part of you that wants to look away, but you can't  look anyway.That's how I felt about this book.

Violet is missing something. She has the perfect life. Sally is struggling in her life and has made some poor choices and in a way wants the life of Violet. David is busy with his work and they have been married for 16 years and live in L.A. These characters all want something , and its interesting too see how it all comes together with the characters all meeting. I did like seeing how the characters showed some growth and actually started talking.

The bad  language was a turn off to me. This was a quick read for me. I wanted to give this book away, but my thoughts on not liking it book is big for me. I don't want to give away that I wouldn't pass along to friends. I think that I might have read this book from my local library.

Frantic Friday

Not much is going on execept seeing my sisters this weekend for a baby blessing and spending time with family.

Reading and Reviewing books -- The mail man was very good to me this week. I already got May books thanks to Little, Brown and I got this other book called Brains-- zombie book, and some giveaways coming up..

Yeah I'm finally up to 100 followers...Maybe I should do another Contest ???

I've finally did more than 10 books over @Blog with a Bite -- Thanks to them I've made some great online friends and been introduced to some new authors..I've even had an author Chloe Neill ( Firespell) leave a comment to me about her book because I found the lack of parents to be a distrubing trend in Young Adult Novels.

I had to add more Gerard Butler ....His next movie is coming out soon :)
