Finn and Annie are both in the same car pool. They are both in 9th grade and secretly dating. He loves to show her pictures, and she loves art. He is a nerd. She loves kissing him. They both end up going to dance separately, but she has to make the choice between her friends and him.

Forward a couple years later, Finn comes back and looks hot. Annie feels really bad about what happened in the past. Finn is still hurt by it. They are now eating lunch together , and he is interested in lily. They are friends, and they reach a truce about the past. At a music festival with friends many things change during that weekend. Also she has some family drama with her dad , and her sister Molly.

Very cute story and loved that Finn and Annie are friends first. I loved that they both were concerned about a friend. Also great to see some parentals, but not all were active parents.

Boomerang

Welcome to BOOMERANG, the hottest startup in the coolest city: Los Angeles, CA. Why? Because it’s about no-strings, no-fuss relationships for those on the rebound and those who crave connection without all the baggage of long-term promises. While it’s THE dating site for the millennial gen, their offices are even steamier than the hook-ups the website produces.

But that buzz is fading as Boomerang struggles to grow, the solution? Find two brilliant interns and give them a crack at turning this ship back to shore.

Enter MIA GALLIANO and ETHAN VANCE. These young strangers—Mia an aspiring filmmaker, and Ethan at the end of a collegiate sports career—are both bright and motivated. And for very different reasons, although they’re both hungry and way up for the challenge.

But things go wrong from day one. For one thing, Ethan and Mia aren’t strangers. The night before their stint at Boomerang begins, Ethan and Mia meet at a bar and fall into bed together. Or so they think. They’re both hazy on the details. They just know it’s aaaawkward when they share a post hookup taxi…to the same place.

Will the competition get to them, or do they have a future together? Image Map

Regan's father creates this virtual world with Patrick. Her father dies, and she hasn't used it for a couple months. This will soon be released to the masses, but its having some issues.

Regan meets Josh , and is attracted to him. She also learns that he has some anger issues, and a friend to Patrick. She goes into the world , and the world looks different, and she is seeing things.

She starts questioning the world, and she has gotten something from her dad. She is also trying to clear her father's name, and the mystery behind the massage's that she is seeing in the world.

This book was great in concept and did remind me of Matrix. I thought that this book did a good job executing many of the other world & the messages. The book did end on a cliffhanger. Overall I enjoyed the book, but I hoped it would be better. I adore the book cover.

Hayden Lord is the son of the king but he is not the favored one. He is chosen to go on a quest and bring back a boon for Hades. He brings with him Dax & Garrick on his journey. He arrives in Olympus Hills .

Daphne Rains can sing and has never left her small town in Utah. She really wants to leave the town. Her dad and Rock star , who she hardly knows brings her Olympus Hills for school and to sing. Daphne makes friends with Tobin.

Daphne & Hayden lives are intertwined since she is to be brought back to the underworld. Hayden life is changed by music.

There are secrets in Olympus Hills , and many that get revealed though out the book. Hayden and Daphne slowly form a friendship , and they both help each other out with some issues. This is a Greek mythology , and enjoyed learning more about it. Through out the book a major theme is Free will or Destiny.  There are so many great characters , and slight romance. I loved being able too see different kind of families in this book. This book was amazing and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Brendan rescues Paige from the side of the road. She has come back home from a terrible relationship, and job wasn't working out. Mirabelle is a small town , and she is dealing with the prejudices from the other towns people.

There is an attraction , and they are taking the relationship slow. Brendan also helps Paige get a job, and she starts making new friends.

This was a cute romance and loved the connection between them. I want to see what happens with the others in the group. I loved Jax and Shep. I loved that they could get through the tough times.

Sky and River have lived on a island for many years. There is attraction to each other. River is the son of Helmut. Sky is the daughter of Petal. Both of their parents ended up dying on the island.

They end up getting rescued , and they are both fish out of water. Sky has someone to help try and get back to normal. She meets Ben, who helps her. She really wants to see River . She is also finding out things about Helmut and the past.

This book was okay , and very different. I was curious to learn more about Petal & Helmut. I was also curious on how they both would do after being on an island for a long time.
