Claire and Megan are best friends and live near each other. Claire is recounting all of her kisses throughout the book. We also get to see present day and those trials.

Claire meets Luke and she is very interested in him. Megan also has her eye on him too. Claire has also been dealing with a family issue at home. Her Senior year is mixed with some good experience and some bad. She grows up a lot during this book. During the book we see all the boys she has kissed.

This book was more about the girls friendship and having a boy come between them. There wasn't any cheating. This book also had some family issues, and some tough subjects were brought up . This book was so much better than I thought it would be. Claire has a tough time dealing with her girl friends.  I am not sold on the cover for this book, because it didn't match what happened within the book.

Hype monster

Kelsea has lived in the forest hiding out  with her foster parents. Her mother is the queen. She was raised with lots of books. This is in the future maybe 200-300 years.

She leaves home , and on her way to be crowned Queen. Along the way she see's and learns more about the county. She also has this magical necklace that has magical abilities.

Kelsea is attracted to Fetch, but I am not too sure he likes her that way. Fetch has been around for many many years. The Red Queen has been taking people from her county, and making them into slaves. She also has magic too.

There was some romance but not a lot. Kelsea is a book worm, and cares a lot about books. I thought maybe too much about books. She is making changes , and doesn't really believe in a religion.  This book was hyped because Emma Watson is going to be in the movie. Through out the book I was MEH. This book isn't bad , but nothing really happens and nothing stands out . The world building in this wasn't quite there, and lots of info dumping. The only reason I finished the book was FETCH. A part of me wishes that I DNF this book, and I really wished that it got better. Kelsea had everything always work out, or someone would save the day.

Jaime is out with his family, but not out to all of his friends. He is a part of the literacy magazine for the school. His friend does some story art and he puts in the magazine with out everyone consent. He is really attracted to his friend Mason, but doesn't want the fear of rejection from him.
This book was predicable , but it was nice to see a boy struggle with relationships with other out or closet kids. He also struggles with his feelings for Mason. I think that this book is great for kids struggling with the issues. It also brought up coming out in high school or later in life. This book also explored when someone else's family has to much religion.

BOOK OF LIFE buttons giveaway

THE BOOK OF LIFE is the highly-anticipated final installment of the bestselling All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness (Viking; On-sale: July 15, 2014; $28.95). The trilogy began with A Discovery of Witches which People magazine called, “A wonderfully imaginative grown-up fantasy with all the magic of Harry Potter or Twilight”. The sequel Shadow of Night debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, and the Miami Herald called it, “Enchanting, engrossing and as impossible to put down as its predecessor...a perfect blend of fantasy, history and romance.” In total, over one million copies have been sold in the States with publications following in 38 countries, leaving legions of fans eagerly awaitingTHE BOOK OF LIFE, the satisfying conclusion to this superbly written series.

THE BOOK OF LIFE picks up right where Shadow of Night left off.  After traveling through timehistorian and witch Diana Bishop and vampire scientist Matthew Clairmont return to the present to continue their hunt for the magical alchemical manuscript, Ashmole 782, otherwise known as the Book of Life.   At Matthew’s ancestral home at Sept-Tours, they reunite with the cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches—with one significant exception—ready to face old enemies. But the real threat to their future has yet to be revealed, and when it is, the search for the Book of Life and its missing pages takes on even more urgency. In the trilogy’s final volume, Harkness deepens her themes of power and forbidden passion, family and caring, past deeds and their present consequences. In ancestral homes and university laboratories, using ancient knowledge and modern science, from the hills of the Auvergne to the palaces of Venice and beyond, the couple at last learn what the witches discovered so many centuries ago.

Skylar is in a town that is very different . She has powers, and she is able to view secrets. Piper is her older sister. Her family is also the founding members of Garnerville. In this town, no one gets sick.

Through out the book we different memories  through the different 80's songs. Piper is also in love with her teacher. Piper is also in the reformatory. Skylar is taking pills to forget many things. She meets Foote who is a newbie to the town, and he is lucky. Skylar is attracted to him.

Through out the book , the wizard of OZ was brought up along with The Pied Piper. I won't go into detail because that would spoil the book. This book was a wild ride, and these topics though different melded together. I love that her books are crazy different. So far this author has been 2/2 for me liking her books.

Shane Bax has just gotten out of prison. He was in there for the past 5 years. He comes looking for his best friend Race, but he appears to have run off. He finds Dovie who is Race's sister. They are both trying to find out anything on him. They are both had had a rough life in the point.
Dovie is on her way to working with at risk kids. She is trying to make her life somewhat better. Bax only knows the life of stealing , and crime. They both have to work together to find her brother Race. I loved seeing Bax's brother.

They do have some sexy times. There is a lot of attraction between them both. Dovie can see Bax as both Shane & Bax. She also understands why he has the different sides. I adore this author and her sexy men. This isn't a nice world .
