Echo has been adopted by the Avicens . She loves the library, and she isn't well liked by all of them. She is sorta dating Rowan. Caius is the Dragon prince . His guard is Dorian . Caius and Echo's path end up meeting while searching for the fire bird.

Echo is sent on this journey by Ala . She is also friends with Jasper and ends up needing his help.

There is romance, puzzles and friendship. I enjoyed this story and I can see how its like Smoke and Bone,

Nine lives in Freedom one . She is good friends with Theron. She wants to become a maker. She also wants to become a male. But during an accident, she ends up on a beach.
She learns about freedoms, love, family, and marriage. She doesn't take any of the hormone's  and becomes a female. Kai and his family rescued her and welcome her into their family. She slowly learns things about this world and it isn't very good. She grows during her time away, and she learns some secrets that affect her.

This book was thought provoking about love, gender, and freedom. I didn't know what to expect from this book and was surprised that this was from Desert book. I am curious if there is going to be another book or this is a stand alone. ?

Cass has lived on Camp Home which is an island for the past 7 years with Solomon. She and her brother Jordi are the only ones left of their family. A guy comes to the island , and he is taken prisoner.
Cass and the boy break out and go look for her brother who was taken. She also learns more about what happened after the incident with the Fearless. The boy --Myo has his sister and he isn't what he seems. Things are happening on the island with Sol & he is questioning things too. The Fearless reminded me of zombies.

I struggled to finish this book . Many things I thought would happen did. Cass did find love and the guy who did love her  had some issues. Now when I think of the word Fearless ..I will think of Zombies. I really wanted to stop reading this book , but a part of me wanted to see how this was going to play out.

I adore this series and I can't wait to read it . I have been picky about my new adult series but this one has been an auto read for me. Be sure to order and read this book when it comes out.

wow what and ending. I loved seeing the gang again. I loved Daphne, Tobin and Hayden. I enjoyed Lexie's friendship with the gang. Many secrets were revealed, and who you thought was the bad guy really wasn't. OMG I need to know what happens next with them. Sorry for the short review but this book was amazing. I adore this series and this author.

Seraphina is on a mission a find others like her . She is also on the Queen's request on this journey.  She does meet and find others like herself. We also find more about her mind garden and those that were in it. Her half sister Jammoula  is taking control of others, and using it to her advantage. Kriggs and Seraphina do have some romance but those felt like stolen moments.

Seraphina does grow along this journey and makes more friends. She also learns more about the Saints.

This book was tough to get back into after so long. I also found the romance lacking , but the world building was amazing. I loved that there were so many characters that were half dragons. I always enjoy Ooma and Aldo . I didn't like the ending but I had some questions about it .

second chances with love. trying new things and friends. Paige is getting over the loss of Aaron. she also has a crush on Ryan. max is his cousin and as a group they hang out a lot. Paige also joins quiz bowl. Omg the feelings and I loved the parents and her friends. another amazing story and so many TV, book references :) I ended up in tears with this book. Book review = A

mini reviews of some books

Jess is a party girl and has some issues at home. She does something stupid and her dad puts her to work at a homeless shelter. Flynn is a boy she met one night , and she ends up seeing him more at the shelter. They are attracted to each other. I loved the cast of characters and loved that Flynn is diverse. I would have loved to see him on the cover. They both have family issues that they are working through.

Very moving story of a girl who works at a motel and wants to get out of town. Skylar mom's isn't always there for her. Josh is the brother a boy she dated. Josh is also back from a tour of duty. They are attracted to each other but slowly start as friends. I have realized that I will read anything by this author.

Ella has broken up with Matt. He comes back to town and tries to recreate thier night of Yes. She is in contact with her other friends during the night. She hasn't really gotten over him, and him over her. During the night we see what happened that first night, and what they are doing tonight. Matt left things unsaid and lost friends.

I enjoyed this girls friendship and even the relationship that could be toxic but it's them. Seriously a great story about taking chances.

Fan's being taken advantage of

I have long been a fan of Katie McGarry books and I enjoy her characters...but this latest attempt is not so nice. To read this fan favorite of Abby and Logan, I have to buy her other NEW book series and when this book comes out I can get both books. Well looking on amazon it varies from 11-14 dollars for an e book or book. Then Abby's book goes back in the vault .

I had bought Gayle Forman's Just one Night as a separate story for .99 because  i wanted to see how it ended. Why can't Harper/ Harlequin Teen do this for the fans. As a fan , this seems unfair and sleezy because I know that I wanted to see the Logan /Abby story . Heck I admit that I haven't read the latest Echo and Noah story because I couldn't handle the angst. But I would buy it :)

Seriously the fans should be treated better and let us have the option...because as it looks I would rather spend my money elsewhere for another book. I have wanted to read the Abby story since she was introduced. But having this be a lead up to the other book series is not the way to play this. I hope that this fails ..because the last time i bought a book was because my name was in the back of Alligant as a blogger.


Many of her fans are teens and not moms--but this promotion just seems not fair to the fans.

Have you had a promotion of book that just seemed wrong or have you waited because the publisher was doing something like this ?? Do you buy Novellas ??
