Shey has moved back home and living with her brother Brick. She is going through a divorce and used to be married to John who still lives in New York with his partner. Shey has 3 teenagers who she is trying to raise and still work as model in Texas.

Shey has always been attracted to Dane Kelly , a rodeo circuit and now doing other jobs to pay the bills. Family is important in this book because we see her brothers and we learn what they did to her first love when she was 16 and in love with Dane.

Its not the normal chick lit and I liked that it was family related with mom, ex husband and brothers. It wasn't the normal happy ever after story but it was realistic and could relate with the kids and trying to work and making sure that they do all their school work.

Usually I give chick lit about a 3/C but this much better, and I have previously reviewed another book by this author and wondered if life was imitating the book. This is a book to pass long to friends when they need something light and a beach read with out the being at the beach.
