thats great and keep making comments below this to win

My most memorable birthday was when I was 5Th grade. I fractured both wrists at the same time. Your thinking....wow how does one fracture both at the same time. I was riding my 10 speed bike and changing the gears. I ran smack into a white trailer and protected my face. So that's how I broke my wrists.

This was the big year at school. We were crossing guards for the school on our day and the big thing was to go Great America. So we ( the kids from school) went to Great America pretty close to my birthday and I had to wear casts on my arms. It was memorable because I had to bring plastic baggies to go on the water rides. This was also the year that my sister also hurt herself too.

So please make comments below this one to win the Birthday giveaway. Keep them coming.

  1. ok-i really want to win so I will keep posting memories. Does that give me extra points?

Ok when I turned 13, I felt like a queen. I am the oldest of 4 so when it came to birthdays, we didn't always get to have a friend party-there were too many b days all at the same time and my mom already had a constant headache. (i can totally relate now)
Well, I got a party this year. Not just any party-the party of all parties (at least in a 13 year olds eyes) My mom put together a scavenger hunt at the mall. We ran from store to store in the mall gathering clues and little presents from each store. Jewelry from Claires, popcorn from Karmelcorn-that kind of idea. it was the best birthday party ever. We had cake in the food court and plus I got presents. This was also the birthday that i got to wear makeup. So-when we got home I had my first makeup lesson. I loved this birthday. To top it all off-my mom also cleaned my room. So-I got to wear makeup, be the coolest girl around cause I had the greatest party, plus my room was clean. Seriously, it was a grea day in my 13 years of exsistence.
So-I will keep thinking what other memories I can come up with. Did I mention that i really want to win? Just checking!

My most memorable birthday was not as a child, but as an adult.

When I turned 35, I was going through a very rough patch in my life. I had been divorced for 3 years, but had just met a wonderful man who would become my DH befor the year was out. The reason I was going through such an awful time, was that I wanted children so bad, and here I was, turning 35 with none in sight. I would walk through stores, and start crying whenever I would I would go near a maternity or baby department.

Fast forward one year. To birthday #36. Oh how my life changed in just that one short year. I had the best birthday present ever. Me... the mommy at heart, who was told she would never hold a child of her own, was indeed holding the best gift anyone could give a 2 week old Carmella.

My most memorable birthday was my 14th. My parents forgot it. I guess being one of 8 kids it's to be expected - eventually they remembered, but it vacuumed like crazy!
