The Host- Book Review

I had already read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and loved it. If I like a book by a author I will usually get their other books and read them like James Patterson. I love his Alex Cross series and also a fan John Sandford Series of books too. I liked reading when I was younger Christopher Pike novels ,when I was a teenager and loved those books, so it reminded a bit of him in some way.

I have always been a reader of books. I'm not usually a fan of sci-fi books. I grew to love the characters of this book. I wanted to more of Wanderer/ Jared/ Ian. I also loved that it showed love in many forms . It did take me a while to get into the book but once I did I wanted to see how it ended. I loved the conversations between Melanie and Wanderer . I did see some bits of twilight in there but it was subtle. I also did see it was a bit more adult and it left it open for another book should she continue on with it. Its book to read more once. But this is book that I would gladly share with others.

I give this book a 3.5 star out of 5. Its not like twilight series but it was good. Different is good sometimes.

  1. We both rated this book the same. I think you gave an accurate review.
I am always looking for a good book to read, so maybe I will try some of the other authors in you list. I don't like books with heaving, pulsing, or glistening in them. I like the sex to be left to the imagination. So warn me now if there is any of that in the other books.

  2. I liked this book. I don't think that you can compare The Host to the Twilight series. They are totally different. I would rate The Host a little higher than a 3.5.
