Great story of Friendship between Valerie and Lilly.
It was great to see a book with letters and cooking recipe's through out the book. Valerie and Lilly both struggle with different things in their life from parents to boyfriends and school. They story starts out in 2000 and goes back to 1967 and from then to the present.
I did try some of the Recipe's in this book and fed them to my family
Valerie is the popular kid and always does above average work and loses her virginity to her boyfriend.
Lilly is the not happy , average and feels invisible person and she also explores being a lesbian . She has major parental issues to work her mom and dad.
Loved the story of friend ship and cooking and this was a fast read for me .

This sounds good. I love books about that involve food. It seems to be a universal thing that brings us all together I guess.
