Up from the Blue--Book Review
Tillie Harris is pregnant and alone in a new city. She is unpacking boxes from their newest move. Her husband is on a flight to Paris for a job.
This book interweaves the past the the present with all the things happened in 1975, the year her mom disappeared.
This was a amazing book that dealt with depression, and family. I could feel the pain that Tillie experienced that year and felt sad.
This isn't a happy book , but through Tillie's view , we see what she really cares about and how it was struggle for her in school and with friends. She even had a tough time with her brother and Dad.
I was trying to remember being young and how I would have reacted with all these changes in my life.
Book Review= 4/B
Great debut novel but I felt sad after I was done reading it and thanks to Harper for the book and this is my Honest review
