Crave Book Review

Crave

Crave is a different vampire story and hoping for another story continuation of the story.

Shay has been sick her whole life and has been needing blood transfusions for most of her life. Her step father Martin tries something new with this new batch of blood. Shay life begins to change , and she is having visions of Gabriel life and his experiences. With these new transfusions, Shay begins to experience life and live life to the fullest extent. She tries beer, kisses her friends boyfriend, swims some sea water , and talks back to her mom, and teacher.

Gabe is this vampire who has lived for over 400 years and is being held captive by Martin. Shay is able to rescue Gabe , and they go on the run. Part 2 of the book, also showed Gabe's point of view and his feelings. He is weak , and Shay decides to help him get better.

Along the way , they get to know one another and have some blood together. Shay is able to understand more about Gabe through the visions and learns more about herself though them. They are also both attracted to each other. My favorite scene was them play poker with toilet paper. I was glad I was able to learn more about Gabe's family.

I don't want to say what happens, but I was glad to see a concerned mother , and step dad in the book. Interesting take on the vampire canon. What a cliffhanger this book left me with to wait and wonder.

There was some drinking, and sex in the book. Pretty book cover.

I bought this book and this is my Honest Review
