Destiny is with her friend Stephanie in their house. She hears 13 chimes, one night and her friend and her aunt are both hurt. She calls David who used to be her boyfriend, and he comes to help her solve this mystery.
David has some "sense" and is able to sense things that aren't right with the paranormal. He also is having some issues with work , and this is the best time to help his friend Destiny.
David and Destiny learn that the house is lonely and David looks like the boy in the photo. Destiny and David are getting better friends since the incident , and he is happy that she is marring Scott. David gets more information from a local family , and from visiting the prison island.
This is Ghost Story and loved the friendships that formed with Stephanie, David, and Destiny. Steph is at a crossroad , and needs to figure somethings out.

I was excited about this one but as times goes on I realise YA is not really for me and this one is consistently getting 3 stars.
