Nicole is Colorado for a ski wedding with her old room mates. She gets into a a accident , on the way to the airport. She is rescued by Michael who lives off the beaten path. Through out the book there were two points of views.In 4 days both of their lives are changed for the best. In some ways this book reminded me of Beauty and the beast. Nicole is stay at her side of the house during the storm. Michael is a writer , and it turns out her favorite one. They are both attracted to each other. Michael has some more secrets , that slowly come out through the book. Nicole is always dealing with some issues. They also have many things in common from music, jobs, and dealing with blood.
I don't want to give it all away , but this is a adult romance with vampires. Loved the cover of this book . I do hope that there is another book of Michael & Nicole. Loved the romance , and Michael is one of the most tortured soul , that deserves a chance of happiness with someone

ReplyDeleteI just read this. Not my usual genre, but I really enjoy her other writing. The "romance" between them didn't seem to add anything to my reading experience, but I did enjoy their common interests and appreciated Syrie's way of weaving in historical people.
