Get to Know book Bloggers #2.1

BEA- Going or do you want to go ??

I would love to go to BEA, but since I am on the West Coast it just isn't financially possible! I wish BEA would come to Southern California for all the West Coast reviewers to enjoy! -- Amy Bookshelf

I wish I could go, I would love to go...and someday I will go, but not right now.-- Tina Book Reviews

I am planning on it. This year I would love to room with a fellow blogger!-- Michelle Redheadedchild

I would totally love to go to BEA but unfortunately I live too far away. I hope BEA will some day come to the west coast.--The Book Vixen

I want to go so badly! Last year, I nearly died of book envy when I saw all my book blogging buddies with their hauls. I'd also love to meet some of the book bloggers I follow. However, I'm 95% sure I'm going to be studying abroad in Ecuador this summer as part of an intensive language program, and we leave the States two days before BEA, and don't get back until mid-June. As much as I'd love to go, I think studying abroad will probably win out! --Natalie Mindful Musings

I am dying to go to BEA!  I have plans to go right now with Amy, Kit, and Austin (my fellow bloggers) but it's still awhile off and we'll see how that plays out!  I went to ALA when it was here in D.C. and it was amazing!  I loved getting to know the authors and finding all those great books that I had never heard of before! --Andye Reading Teen

I went last year and loved it. If someone is willing to watch my kids and I can come up with the money, I'll definitely be going again this year.-- Jennifer Reading Tequila

I would love to go to BEA but don't have the money and it's a long way away from where I live--Rebecca Biblognome

I went last year and I'm definitely going again next year! DH already booked our room.--Karen FWIW

I would LOVE to go to BEA, but sadly I don’t think it’ll be happening for me. We’re usually on vacation during the whole month of May and are out of the country. It would be amazing to be able to go to BEA! Talk about FUN not to mention all the great bloggers I’d get a chance to meet face to face. BEA would be a dream come true. Maybe someday, just not soon. So So sad. -- Lisa Bound By Books

I'd love to go but it doesn't look like it'll be happnening this year. Maybe next year! Emily What Books is that ?

Kelli: Wish I could go but I'll have a four week old for 2011 BEA. Maybe 2012!

Natalie: I can't because I will be 9 months pregnant :( I can just see myself waddling to the airport, peeing every 5 minutes and then having swollen feet and missing all the fun once I got there! But come hell or high water I will be there 2012!-- So Rather Read

I would love to go to BEA and meet other bloggers and find all those new books that are coming out. I too am a west coast blogger and with 5 kids , I'm not always able to go where I want to..but I do have a friend who is going , and they have my list of books I want if I'm unable to make it.

Stay tuned for the next question

  3. My sister is dead set on going to BEA. And of course I'm going with her, along with one of our friends.
I'd also love to meet some of the bloggers that I follow.

  6. New York City is a long way from Texas. Between the kids, college, and everything else that comes up, I doubt I'll make it to BEA this year. Maybe next time.

  8. Turns out I'm not studying abroad anymore because one of my best friends got engaged and is planning her wedding for the time period when I would be gone! I couldn't miss it, so I decided to stay in the states. The end of BEA is two days before her wedding, so there's a chance I could go now, but I'll have to wait and see.

  9. I sure wish I could go to BEA, but with the move to Sacramento coming up and the possibility that I won't have a job, I just don't have the money. :-(

I think I may actually be in Sacramento the weekend of BEA looking for housing...if it's the weekend I'm thinking of.
