The Thieves of darkness

Michael is a thief but also in the security business. He lost his wife to cancer and is slowly dating again. He was set up on date with KC and they have a mutual friend in common. Michael gives KC a Tiffany necklace that shows how much the relationship is slowly growing.

Michale and KC are both thief's and alot alike. The action starts when Michael has to rescue KC and Simon from Prison.  Simon is chasing after a staff , and this staff opens up heaven or Hell.  I admit the history stuff was interesting but also boring ..I wanted to get to romance with KC and Michael.

Michael and KC had been dating for the past six weeks and then finding her in jail. It made the honesty more important. This book did remind me of The Thomas Crown affair , and Leverage. I could also see Mr. & Mrs Smith  action and deception This book also had family , and action.

Its amazing to see what a person will do when a friend or family member life is on the line.

Best Line: Besides makeup? A knife, cell phone, flashlight-not much in the help department. You ??
