The Convenient Groom
Dr.Kate is getting married and the event is all planned out, but the groom gets cold feet. So Lucas Wright jumps into the spot on that very same day.
During the Honeymoon, we see how they met. Kate is a type A personality, and loves to schedule things. Lucas is more laid back and spontaneous . They make an arrangement to be married for one year, and then divorce. Kate is slowly learning more about Lucas. He already knows more about her.
Kate has written a self help book about finding Mr. Right, and she goes on the Dr. Phil show to promote the book. Lucas plays the adoring husband at the airport. I loved seeing the growth that she was making during the book. I also loved that there were two points of views of the relationship.
There is a problem that comes up about the marriage , and whether or not its real. This was a cute story , and loved that they went to church , and prayed during the tough time. I admit I love these kind of books of chick lit and church , but this book was the perfect mix of romance, and being a churchy book.
Best Line: Love isn't some item on a checklist

Wacky premise but it seems like the author pulled it off. Sounds cute.
