Sleeping Beauty Vampire Slayer Book Review

This is choose your own adventure story , so its never the same when you read it. You are the main character Lucette and you decide where the story goes.

Lucette is also named Rose and is the daughter of Stefan and Catia. On her naming day, she is cursed by Queen of Vampires and if she pricks her finger then the people end up asleep , while she is awake.
Lucette has the option to listen to her parents. She also has to make choices of who to love between Tristan the man who trained to be a slayer or Alex the Vampire. Along the way there were many things that were the same with the story of Roses , and certain scene with her hair, and fighting vampires along the way.

I liked that as a the reader I could make the choice of her adventures and make the story different. There were some cute scenes with Alex & Lucette . I also enjoyed that she had the normal fears of dating , and even marriage. Loved that there was family involved, and there was letter writing. I also loved the cover. Lucette reminded me of Buffy Summers at times with being a strong female character, and wanting to take care of those around her.



I'm not going to give much away because its the readers adventure but I did love that it stuck to the canon of Sleeping Beauty but mixed up and added some flair to the story.

This is book I would let my daughter read, and there was only kissing.
