 Emerson lives with her brother Thomas and his wife Dru in buildings that he redone. Her parents died a while ago. Emerson can see people from the past.

Michael works for the Hourglass Institute . He is there to work and find out more about Emerson. They are attracted to each other , but he is older and understands the rules laid out by Thomas. This is a professional working relationship. Emerson can see time ripples. I loved the shout out to Dr. Who and Christopher Reeve from Some where in Time. Emerson is also able to talk with Jack. I admit I love time travel books. Yes I'm a geek.

Michael and Emerson are two halves together who can travel time. Emerson is a strong female who doesn't take crap from anyone. She also met some other members of the Hourglass  and loved when she first met them, they were talking about X-Men. There is mention of other paranormal Houses.

Michael is gentleman and swoon Worthy. He is in college and bit older than Emerson. He also sticks by the rules set up my Thomas.

I can't begin to tell you how awesome this book was. It was great to see the friendship of Lily and Kaleb. It was also an adventure, and I can't wait to see what happens next by this author. I liked this book so much I added it to amazon cart.

Best Line: Your size makes you seem delicate , like a spiderweb, But a wise fly knows that delicate can be strong
