Aura can see ghosts. She was the first born after the shift . Her boyfriend is Logan. He plays in a band with his brothers. They are this close to getting a record deal , and then Logan drinks, and does drugs before he wants  consummate his relationship with Aura. Logan has shaded to purple.

Aura is in loss over the death of her boyfriend. She can still see him. Aura is also working in a project for her class. She is without a partner. Zachary is a new student and partnered up with Aura. Zachary also is attracted her Aura , but he also has some secrets too. He is only there for 1 year as a forgien exchange student.

Logan as a ghost is unable to lie, and his parents want justice for the use of the drugs. All comes out in during trial regarding their relationship and being in the band. Logan isn't ready to move onto the light.

There are lots of great song choices , and love the addition of Zachary. Aura also has lots in common with Zachary with the regards of the Parents. I also enjoyed the mythology behind it and love that there are many bands mentioned and music is good part of the book.

Best Line  = I don't want you to want me just because I'm here and alive

Logan is still a ghost but becomes human for 15 minutes. Aura and Logan want to do the thing that they been wanting to do before his death. But time soon flies by while they discussing safe sex , and he slowly disappears. Zach asks Aura on  real date. She gets dressed up for this special occasion. Zach wants to invite her to Prom. Things happen on the date and plans change

Zach and Aura are still friends and he mentions to her about his dad. Logan still wants to front a band. The DMP  are actually helping out this time. Prom is a disaster for all the parties involved . Aura is also learning more about mom, and dad in this book. Zach and Aura are still working on their project for the class with finding all the stars at night time. They are still mapping their locations. Zach is also special in that he was born pre-shift. He is also special too but in a different way.

There is kissing in the book, and I think the universe doesn't want Aura to have sex with anyone . I know that she is anxious to lose it. Aura also makes some choices regarding her relationships and also does some good with some ghosts.

This book mentions colors and dates to count down or dates that someone has been waiting. I do want to learn more about the mom.

This is a great series and I do want to see what happens with Logan & Zach & Aura.

Best Line: It felt like I think we weren't looking for each other . We were looking for Logan.
