Trick , Grey , and Cat Youngblood move to Lost Lake Florida. Its in the boonies and small town. They have been moving every couple of years. Trick is her brother and guardian and now into raising horses.One Night when Catlyn couldn't sleep, she takes her horse out for a ride and meets a dark boy. She is slowly making friends in this new town. Once she meets dark boy , there is insta attraction , but they are slow to act on it.
She also discoverers that more mysteries about her family .She also starts reading letters of her mom and dad before they died.
I found that I wanted to know more about Trick and Grey more than about Catlyn. I do hope to learn more about the family secrets, and more about the brothers Patrick & Greyson. I also think the big reveal was a little late in the story because as the reader I figured it out or knew it might be along those lines.
I did like the horses and the romance. I didn't like the lying, sneaking out to talk with the boy --Jesse.I think Trick was a great Parent even though he was her brother. Overall I would read the next book in the series to see what happens with the Youngbloods.
