Drain You Book review

Quinlan works at a video store with her best friend Monroe. He has always loved her but something changes for her one night. Quinn also has an incident at the video store with Spader.

She runs into Naomi Sheets and her life is changed. She meets James who is Naomi older brother. Her best friend Libby is dating  Stiles. Quinlan parents are around but they are always leaving post it notes to communicate.

Quinn falls hard for James . His brother Whit is there to help be there are a friend and take care of her while James has to take care of stuff.

There was a lot of 80 references and movies mentioned through out the book. The kids in this book were sexually active & Quinn was sneaking out. James had a tendency to hid in a closet. Also the Sheets parents were hardly around too.

There were some great lines , but I was mixed this book. I did enjoy the this take on vampirism. It also reminded me of Buffy since they were in the Valley. Also it seemed that all the boy main characters all adored Quinn.

Best Line: Seriel Killer ? More like an Abercombie zombie with a charge card and a Mazda RX-7

Won't always be around to deliver you from evil. I know you are good friend
