The Matchmakers of Butternut Creek

Pastor Adam Jordan is busy with life in the church. He is taking care of 2 kids , and the widows want him to get married.

He meets Gussie at a youth retreat and there is some attraction to each other. She has to deal with some other issues , but they start out with a slow getting to know one another through emails. Gussie is also dealing with aging parents, and busy life of taking pictures , and church life.

Birdie is in charge of the widows and wants to help some couples in town find love. She also has to deal with an issue brought up in the book. Adam also gets to know his neighbors and councils them even though they aren't in his church.

I enjoyed this book and the busy body that Birdie was. I also enjoyed Adam and Gussie slow romance. It was great to see that in this small town. This is the 2nd in a series
