Call the Midwives

This is a period piece TV series that follows these ladies who help deliver babies. Its interesting to see the romance and hardships during the era. They ladies are changed by different events. Jenny Lee takes on patient she doesn't want but soon grows to care for him. Chummy to ride a bike. All of the nurse/midwives are changed by their patients. They live with the nuns but aren't nuns. They do date some men. Trixie and Cynthia are also learning and growing as nurses.

This is a great series . If you like Downton Abbey then you will like this one too.

    I try more genres with tv shoes than with books. I still haven't watched Downton Abbey though I do want to. I heard that Maggie Smith is amazing.
