Nowhere but Home

Queenie Wake is busy working in NYC at her job . She gets another complaint and is fired over some eggs & ketchup. She doesn't have anywhere to go except home.

She moves in with her sister Merry , and her son Cal. She also runs into her love Everett. She has been in love with him since kindergarten. She gets a job cooking the last meal of inmates.

This is a small town, and everyone has their secrets. Queenie and Merry  are the town pariah. Their mom was murdered many years ago.

Both sister go through changes. Queenie even dates someone new, but her heart will always be with Everett. Queenie lets him what she wants regarding a relationship. She makes peace with many things while back in town. I enjoyed the chapter titles .

This book was very cute , and it got me thinking of what I would choose if I would to have a last meal. I enjoyed Dee, Wes, and Cal.
