I was thinking today....I wonder what ever happened to the guys I dated....I was engaged 2x and called off the engagements. It didn't feel right. I'm glad I did call them off but I often wonder what ever became of them.
The first guy ...he joined the church and we were engaged from November til July/ August. I met him at my job. We hit it off. His mom was Crazy...., but the reason I called it off was because I wanted kids and he didn't and come to find out that He already had a child that was his that he had to pay child support for through someone he met through the army. I didn't have a problem with that...It just didn't make sense. I also didn't want him to join the church for me....it had to be for himself. I broke it off sometime in 96. I remember we had discussions at Denny's and I think that was the break up spot.
My sister Amy saw him a couple years back at Bank of America. Its amazing that I have been in the same area since this happened and have never seen him since I broke up with him. I wonder where he is working and what became of him.
The 2ND guy ...he was a friend but we moved to fast and in the end I couldn't picture myself with him. I have seen him at school ( American River College) and he is happily married. Yes I broke up with him too.
I was getting reputation for getting engaged....but isn't better that I called them off then have a messy divorce.
I did the same thing. Only once. I hope he's got a happy life. He was a nice guy, just not the one.:)

ReplyDeleteThat's why everyone should blog. I have the same wonderings about an ex-boyfriend whose email address I got the other day. I sent something off and I haven't heard back yet. So I'm still wondering. Grrr...
